Geoffrey Chaucer

 

Geoffrey Chaucer an English poet.

 He is one of the most popular writer in his time.

 He wrote the Canterbury Tales.

 The Canterbury tales is all story of a group of thirty people who travel as pilgrims to Canterbury (England). The pilgrims, who come from all layers of society, tell stories to each other to kill time while they travel to Canterbury.There are too many beautiful tales that he wrote in this book, like ‘’ the Miller’s Tale, The Pardoner’s tales, The Knight’s tale” and many more.

 But What I like the most  in Geoffrey Chaucer’s tale is the Pardoner’s tale.

I like it because it relates to the  people in this world. And it helps me to realize that being too much greedy put our life in a great danger.

The Pardoner’stale is all about the three thieves  who found a bunch of treasure. They all want this treasure very much. But they all ended dead. Why? Because they kill each other, the two has been poisoned and the youngest has been stabbed by the two men. I like this because tale because I this tale to warn each and every one of us, that in every action there’s an opposite reaction.
